For our latest Artist Series, we invited Maisie Broome of Myfawnwy to bring her vibrant marbling practice to our undyed, vegetable-tanned El Paso Babas. The collection features three custom designs inspired by recurring motifs of emotion and spirituality in Maisie’s work, along with the joyous colors of the natural world. Each composition begins with paint, floated and drawn by hand across a marbling bath. The Baba is then carefully dipped into the bath, transferring the image directly onto the leather. The fluid nature of the process means no two pairs will ever be exactly alike. Each pair is made to order and individually dyed by hand in Maisie’s studio. Please allow up to four weeks for shipping, though pairs will likely arrive sooner.

- To best care for your marble-dyed Babas, lightly brush off any debris or dirt on the surface with a soft & lightly damp cloth.
