When we first introduced our Bolo in Black, the reaction was "Whoa!" ... the black leather, a full-grain Italian Nappa hide, was just so, so buttery soft.
It was so well received, we've decided to reintroduce our classic Black Sabah in our softest leather ever. We call it Glove Black.
This wasn't an easy one to source -- a leather that's soft like a glove with transparency to the reveal the hides natural grain. Most leathers are overly manipulated, overly finished, and too stiff. But we found this black, with a lesser known but wonderful tannery in Istanbul and, after a few months of wear testing, we were convinced this was the one.

Our friend Rachel took these softer than soft Sabahs out for a spin near Sabah HQ on a chilly afternoon, outfitted in classic black & red. They were the perfect companion for a day out in the city... We stopped for a latte at Park at Kim's on Elizabeth Street - our team's new favorite coffee spot in Manhattan.
A design-forward café with a beautiful Donald-Judd-inspired interior, it was founded by four friends with a deep love for Korean coffee culture.
Our Glove Sabah pairs well with, or without socks, and in-this case -- styled with straight almost-black denim and a red sweater. They're as instantly classic as they are comfortable.
