We love a colorful Pareo at Sabah — a versatile, easy-to-pack travel accessory, particularly for warmer weather getaways. So we made our own, block printed in Jaipur, India using hand carved wooden blocks and natural dyes. Our Sabah Pareo is printed on soft and lightweight 100% cotton and can be styled as a skirt, dress, halter, or scarf or used for sun cover, as a picnic blanket, or anything else you could use a cloth for. Block printing is a centuries old craft in India and specifically Jaipur. Each motif is carved in wood, then dipped in dye and carefully aligned and stamped on repeat to create a pattern. This is truly an artisanal craft that we’re excited to support at Sabah.
