Today, we introduce our new Western Belts, crafted in El Paso of smooth, full-grain American leather and finished with a silver double loop buckle from Italy.
Under the direction of New York-based stylist and artist Sarah Honold, we put together a set of looks on two friends at the Sabah Studio. We called the shoot 'Heading West' in a nod to the Western inspiration of this belt and Sarah's expertise in vintage Americana.
The prompt was to show how our Western Belt can elevate any look -- as the statement piece itself or a subtle but cool way to tie it all together.
Enjoy!
Heading West.
Originally from Mexico City, Sarah draws on an extensive background in vintage styling, a passion sparked by her mother, an antique collector. She grew up accompanying her on frequent trips to flea markets (her favorite being La Lagunilla in Mexico City) and fell in love with all things vintage- her wardrobe full of coveted pieces from all decades.
With her expertise in vintage styling and almost a decade of styling those classic Americana looks for Ralph, Sarah has the perfect of effortless yet elevated styling, that feels natural to Sabah. “There’s a real luxury to Sabah products, balanced by how easy they are to style," Sarah told us.
Corso Boots (Como Taupe) & Camp Socks (Red
Like everything at Sabah, our Western Belt begins with craftsmanship & quality materials. Each one is made by skilled leather workers in our El Paso, Texas workshop. We chose a full-grain American hide in a smooth Nappa finish, which gives the belt an elegant look and ensures it’ll only get prettier as it breaks in with wear. We paired it with a carefully sourced buckle from Italy -- matte, but not dull. Substantial, but not oversized. The idea behind our Western Belt is simple. It should elevate whatever you’re wearing; sometimes as the statement, sometimes quietly pulling everything together. A nod to the Western spirit that has long inspired Sabah, and a piece we hope you’ll wear for years to come.

Styling Notes: From an effortless coffee run — pairing our Corso boot in Como Taupe and The Western Belt in Brown with vintage 501 Levi’s, a colorful button-down, and a sweater — to something a little more Americana, styling our Tokyo Babas and The Western Belt in black, with black pleats, and a classic white tee, and an casual black button-down. Easy, cool, and meant to be worn your way.
