Good Morning, Sabah People, I spent the last 13 days in Istanbul, and we walked a lot. 152,012 steps to be exact. |

If you've been here, you know: Istanbul is hilly. Steep ascents on cobblestone streets lead to beautiful views, with just as many steps back down to reach the cafes and ferry boats along the Bosphorus. My Alto Boots provided grip, support and comfort for every climb. |
By day, we dressed casually to visit galleries & museums, new stores & favorite hole-in-the-wall lunch spots. At night, a bit more dressed up, we attended the theater, enjoyed dinners with friends & family, and drank cocktails in Cihangir. |
The weather has been trying too. Rainy overcast days were contrasted with warm & sunny ones brought in by the powerful Lodos winds. There were even a couple days of serious snow; beautiful to observe, but treacherous to traverse.
My Alto Boots handled it all and, frankly, look even better for it. That water resistant suede is no exaggeration.Β
All that to say, if you've got some wintertime travels ahead, I couldn't recommend a pair of our Alto Boots more.
Plus, stay tuned, my updated Istanbul guide is coming soon. The perfect city to wear your new boots.
Bon Voyage!
