$325Mola Sasa Baba - Mora
Limited edition of 100 pairs. Sabah x Mola Sasa Baba was inspired by Mola Sasa’s archive of vintage molas (or Kuna textiles) -- specifically a geometric textile with a repetitive motif called “Nakrus Oguad Aled” in Guna Dule language. Every geometric textile has a meaning, and in this instance the linked colors in the repetition represent a protection textile. The Mora color way features a layering of a deep navy with a hint of purple, a very subtle light pink, and cream cottons. The upper textiles were made by women from the Guna Dule indigenous community of Caiman Alto, Colombia, where it takes nearly two days to hand finish the textile for one pair of Babas, which are then crafted at the Sabah Workshop in El Paso, Texas — a truly global collaboration. Enjoy!

Care
Lightly brush off any debris or dirt on the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Use Sabah leather cleaner and conditioner, in that order, applying the product to a soft cloth and rubbing it onto the shoe with a circular motion. Pressure isn’t necessary — simply apply with a quick motion and the heat of the friction will infuse the product into the top grain of the leather. Be certain to cover the entire upper, including within the creases. Allow to dry and then buff off the excess with a clean, dry soft cloth.
