The Denim Worker Jacket is a collector's item -- a modern and relaxed take on your classic blazer. Every stitch of construction on this blazer is completely done by hand, using no machinery! This is very uncommon, specifically for a tailored piece. It is made by local artisans in India, slowly, thoughtfully and with integrity and much attention to detail using a lightweight, hand-spun Selvedge denim that's been created using 100% Kala cotton. The fabric is handwoven and drapes well. The process involves skilled human hands from start to finish, a refreshing departure from mainstream manufacturing. Much like our Sabah shoes, it is signed, numbered and dated by the artisan who made it.

Dealer's Notes
Color bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colors stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time.

We are excited to introduce 11.11 to our ‘By Hand and By Name’ series. Similar to Sabah, craftsmanship is at the heart of what they do, working with rurally located artisans in India to create one-of-a-kind garments and accessories made with indigenous cotton and 100% natural dyes. These artisans work out of their homes, using their own space, equipment and heritage techniques — hand spinning, hand painting, loom weaving, tie-dyeing and quilting — to produce beautiful and relaxed silhouettes in small batches.
11.11 empowers craft communities using regenerative processes with little-to-no carbon footprint. The materials are safe for the skin, featuring fluid and genderless silhouettes that accommodate most sizes and shapes.
